Virtual Reality (VR) can create if used properly, fully immersive, interactive gaming experiences. Since the 90s clinical trials have shown that VR can be an extremely effective tool in helping with mental health issues. Its hyperrealism allows for patients to completely immerse themselves in controlled environments, learn cognitive skills to take into the real world, and much more. As VR technology and graphics have advanced in recent years, the time has come for all this research to be incorporated into a consumer product and that's what we're here for!

The precursor to treating mental health with VR was video gaming. While traditional gaming does not offer the immersive realism of VR, research has shown that gaming is very useful when implemented in psychotherapy. Because CBT is based on the cognitive model, which considers how thoughts, emotions, bodily sensations, and behaviors are interconnected and influence one another, it has been shown to be an effective alternative to traditional talk therapy and used by therapists for decades. This is why we made CBT an essential component in most of our experiences.
